************************************
Youth who have completed 8th -12th grades by summer 2009 are welcomed to choose from ten camps. There must be a ratio of at least 1 adult driver to every 4 youth. Adults must be at least 19 years old and considered a good role model by your church. Adults must be mature and responsible. Adults are expected to participate in all activities. Cost is $ which includes all meals from Sunday dinner through Saturday breakfast, secondary accidental insurance, lodging, and project expenses. Departure will be Saturday morning after breakfast, camp clean up, and a brief evaluation.
Applications will be accepted until all camps are full. Notification of camp assignments will take place in January. Should your group not be accepted we will return your application fee, otherwise all payments are nonrefundable.
VEHICLES NEEDED
A ratio of 1 vehicle per adult driver and 4 youth is required to insure adequate transportation for the service team during the week. Your church is responsible for all vehicle expenses. Each vehicle should be large enough to carry 5 persons in seat belts plus ice chest, vehicle tools, and building supplies. Please realize these vehicles will need to carry lumber, paint, and other supplies to the jobsites. Seat covers are a good idea for vehicles.
TOOLS NEEDED
Each vehicle coming to camp must carry tools. The list if available in the Adult Camper Packet as well as in the Church Training Manual.
Tools that are broken at home will be broken at OMP. Be sure all tools are in working condition before packing. For example: make sure the blades are sharpened and your lawn mower runs properly.
