“I grew through the relationships I made this summer with my college staff team. I didn’t know what to expect really when I started this summer. I had no idea that the three of us would truly become our own family group and share so many successes and challenges that made this summer incredible. ”
Make memories.
"Being on College Staff allowed me to truly be myself while at camp. Whether I was making a fool out of myself playing games, shaking a neighbor's hand as they used their wheelchair ramp for the first time, leading worship for a room full of youth, or praying with and pouring in to my fellow college staff members, OMP provides an environment for you to thrive in whatever area you feel called to."
Daniel Curry, 2013 and 2014 College Staff
Deepen faith.
“I grew up in the church, taught by parents of two different denominations the most important commandment that crosses all denominational barriers - love God and love neighbor. But my experience of who my neighbor was changed after OMP. I realized I was connected to every other human on this earth because we are all God’s children. After attending OMP for years I became a college staff member. My experiences at OMP have been central to shaping my ministry for the Kingdom of God.”
Rev. Kathleen McMurray, 2006, 2007 College Staff
Develop lifelong friendships.
"As a College Staffer you're able to work with hundreds of campers, tons of neighbors, and so many great volunteers over the course of the summer. You're able to build relationships with so many people in so many different ways. It allows you to see all sides of Ozark Mission Project and why it is so successful. It's all about the connections you're able to form with people."
Jack Vaughan, 2018 and 2019 College Staff
As a part of the OMP Leadership Academy, you will have opportunities to impact over 1,000 youth and adults, develop your time management and leadership skills, and make an impact on neighbors across the state.
