Natalie: Cream Biscuits
Ingredients
2 cups self-rising flour
1 ¼ cups heavy cream
Melted butter, for brushing
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Place flour in a large mixing bowl and slowly stir in heavy cream. Mix until the dough starts to come together; it should look shaggy and wet.
Turn dough out on a floured surface. Fold and turn four times.
Pat into a ¾ inch circle and use a sharp biscuit cutter to cut our biscuits.
Place close together on a baking sheet, brush with butter, and bake for 10-14 minutes or until golden brown.
